Butterflies!
1st May 2025
Here's a lovely description of our recent piece of learning in the Junior Room, written by Fiadh (2nd Class)
Butterfly life cycle.
First, they were eggs that our teacher got.
Then, the eggs turned into caterpillars wich were kept in a tub with caterpillar food.
Next, the caterpillars made chrysalis so we moved them to a bigger space so that when they turned into butterflies they would have more room.
Lastly, they turned into butterflies. We kept them in their space for a little while longer and then we released them into the wild.
Type, tortoise shell butterflies.
That's the life cycle of a butterfly.
