Congratulations to our six students who made their First Communion in the Kells church on 10th May. Below is an outline of the day, written by Michaela, 2nd Class.
Communion in Kells
We were practising all week going to mass, going to the church, learning songs, and doing run throughs for the big day. On the day, we all went to Communion mass and we took loads of photos. After mass we all went back to the school for a party. We ate cakes, buns, sandwiches, and drank tea and coffee. Then we all went to do our own thing with our families. We went for dinner or lunch.
Thanks to all the people who helped to make the teas, coffee, buns and cakes.
